Dr. Prianka Sengupta

Dr. Prianka Sengupta is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Haldia Law College, Haldia since December, 2023. Previously she served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Kingston Law College, affiliated with West Bengal State University, Barasat. She had completed her Graduation with Honours in Political Science from Kanchrapara College under University of Kalyani, Nadia. She had completed her Post-Graduation in Political Science from University of Kalyani, Nadia. She has been honoured with a Doctoral degree in Political Science for her research in the topic Impact of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) on tribal development: A case study in Purulia district, West Bengal from Adamas University, Barasat. She has also qualified West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET) in Political Science in the year 2020. She has several publications in UGC approved journals, articles and has also authored various book chapters in Edited books of renounced academicians.
