3-Year Degree Course in Law is mainly profession or career oriented. Law as a profession offers several career options for students to explore.

Students, pursuing 3 Years LL.B. course, are exposed to a wide range of branches of law. The highly innovative curriculum followed by the college not only adheres to the recommendation of the Bar Council of India, but also it includes papers which go with the ground reality like IPR, Criminal Law, Insurance Law, Environmental Law or Business Law etc. Through the academic activities, it focuses on developing skills in regard to legal services, advocacy, legislations, law reforms, parliamentary practices and to encourage inter disciplinary studies.

Eligibility for Admission :

Three Years LL.B. Course:A candidate aspiring to get admission for 3 years Law Course of our college is required to obtain Graduation Degree from any discipline with 45% marks in the aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, he/she is required to obtain Graduation Degree with 40% marks in the aggregate and, for OBC candidates, he/she is required to have Graduation Degree with not less than 42% Marks.

 

Duration of Course:

The duration of the three years law course shall be of 6 (six) semesters.

 

Attendence :

No student shall be allowed to take the end semester written examination if the student has not secured minimum 70% of attendance held in the subject concerned as also moot court exercises, practical training etc. taken together.

 

Curricullum:

The subjects and papers for the course shall be prescribed by the Vidyasagar University from time to time in accordance with the rules of the Bar Council of India.
